Happy Birthday To Me… :)

It’s my birthday today and it’s been a really wonderful year for me!

If you are wondering what my boyfriend, Calvin did for me.. here’s an idea for you guys to take away to surprise your loved one for a special occasion such as a birthday!

Here’s what he did…

He surprised me with plans to take me out to sea for the afternoon. It was a boat trip out to Nowhere and it was certainly a surprise! Because I’ve hardly gone out to sea and it was really refreshing to spend some quality time away from the hustle and bustle of life in the city and move to the peaceful high seas.

It is really romantic for the both of us to be on the deck and enjoying the sea breeze, while he sings a birthday song, love songs and just spends the lovely afternoon serenading to me. It was really cooling too despite the rather hot sun.

The other surprise that came was his birthday present for me. I didn’t know that he actually took time off work to go get a present for me! Girls are actually quite easy to please. Especially when you know what they like, love, need and want. And certainly, Calvin knows i like plushies and soft toys.. especially the Winnie The Pooh Series. And he got me a lovely Eeyore huggable soft toy!

It’s not difficult to surprise your loved one when you have a unique idea and when you take time to understand your loved one’s likes and interests. It doesn’t hurt to plan really early because that way, you can hint your plans to your loved one to see his/her interest level and enthusiasm. Though, remember not to do it too blatantly!
